Enterprise領域にWeb 2.0がもたらすインパクト

Web 2.0だって世の中は騒がしいですが、エンタプライズ向けのソフトウェアのビジネスに関わる小職としてはやはりEnterprise領域にWeb 2.0がもたらすインパクトは何なのかっていう点が気になります。おそらく、Web 2.0のEnterprise版ということで、誰かその辺でEnterprise 2.0とでも言い出しているのに違いないと踏んで、ためしにGoogleでEnterprise 2.0で検索してみると、、

MIT SloanのAndrew P. McAfeeという人のEnterprise 2.0: The Dawn of Emergent Collaborationというのが引っかかりました。

There is a new wave of business communication tools including blogs, wikis and group messaging software ― which the author has dubbed, collectively, Enterprise 2.0 ― that allow for more spontaneous, knowledge-based collaboration.

これはどうやら、「ブログやwikiやメッセージングといった、自発的でナレッジベースなコミュニケーションを可能にする、ビジネスにおける新しいコミュニケーション・ツール」を総じて、Andrew P. McAfeeがEnterprise 2.0と命名したもののようですね。

ちなみに、Wikipediaでは"Enterprise social software"としてEnterprise 2.0が載ってました。
